I am a single 40-something woman living in Sydney, Australia.
I have tried for the last two and a half years to have a biological child using Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and last year gave birth prematurely to my son at 22 weeks and 3 days. He didn’t survive.
I am now done with IVF and the idea of having a biological child and am on the quest to create my family through permanent foster care. This is that story.
Oh and just so I can perpetuate the myth about single women, I do have two small furry animals that live with me or perhaps I live with them.
